I am Iris van der Hout and, as a photographer based in Bergen op Zoom, I run Iris Photoshoots with a focus on corporate photography and business portraits. My goal is simple: to create imagery that presents your organisation and its people as credible, professional and approachable. With a background in portrait photography I place emphasis on personality — that human element is what makes corporate images memorable. My approach is practical and engaged. We start with a short conversation to determine the look you want — formal, informal, creative or clean corporate — and how the photos will be used (website, LinkedIn, social media, press materials). On location at or near your office I work primarily with natural light and calm backgrounds, or I set up a simple studio arrangement if that better suits the brief. I’m happy to advise on styling, wardrobe choices and poses so colleagues feel comfortable and appear authentic on camera. As a specialist in business portraits I aim for efficient shoots that create a calm atmosphere: clear direction, short breaks and attention to details such as posture and facial expression. For team photos and employee portraits I develop a consistent visual style so all images together form a strong brand identity. That consistency makes managing photos for websites, LinkedIn profiles and marketing materials much easier. What sets me apart is my personal approach and Brabant warmth: I create a relaxed environment, even for people who don’t often stand in front of a camera. As a freelance photographer I have an eye for small moments and nuances that make a company feel more human.
