I am Anna Boukema, specialising in corporate photography based in Groot IJsselmonde and working in Rotterdam and beyond. As a business photographer I focus on images that strengthen the character and visual identity of an organisation: clear, atmospheric and realistic photos that inspire trust on websites, in brochures, banners and internal communications. Why choose my corporate photography? My strength lies in connecting business objectives with a personal appearance. I collaborate with companies and institutions to produce staff photography and corporate photo reports that convey both humanity and professionalism. My background (graduated in photography from AKV St. Joost, 2007) and years of experience with clients such as educational institutions, healthcare and social organisations have taught me how to quickly find the right tone — from sharply lit and businesslike to warm and approachable. How I work: I always begin with a short consultation to determine which tone best suits your organisation. Together we decide whether to aim for a personal, playful atmosphere or a more corporate, powerful look. During portrait sessions I create a relaxed environment so employees can be themselves; for company photo reports I shoot in an observational, documentary style where needed so the images remain natural and credible. I deliver photos optimised for online profiles such as LinkedIn, websites and internal or external publications. What makes my approach special? I combine a strong eye for composition and light with attention to the story behind a person or department. In staff photography I pay attention to recognisable details and contextual elements that immediately communicate what your organisation stands for. At events and internal reporting I capture moments that later function as authentic materials for communication. Although my core focus is business, portrait and event photography, I also have experience with campaign and advertising work and can incorporate that discipline into larger assignments on request.
