I am Maryse Hettinga, a passionate, internationally award‑winning photographer based in Mijdrecht. My heart lies in documenting motherhood and family life: maternity photography, newborn photography, child portraits and family shoots. My work is defined by a soft, natural style — light, emotion and that little touch of magic that turns ordinary moments into something special. Why choose Maryse? I work from a place of calm and attention. During a session I create a relaxed atmosphere where genuine moments and authentic emotions can arise. I photograph both in my studio and outdoors in the nature around Mijdrecht and De Ronde Venen, combining timeless, painterly images with playful, sincere moments. My approach is personal: I listen to your wishes, take the time needed and support you so the photos truly reflect who you are as a mother and as a family. My process is simple and warm. We start with an introductory conversation to discuss expectations and preferred style. On the day itself I provide a quiet setting, a lot of patience and gentle guidance that encourages natural interaction — no forced poses, but a focus on skin‑to‑skin moments, soft looks and spontaneous smiles. After the shoot I carefully select and retouch the images so they radiate calm and can be treasured for a lifetime. Important: I focus exclusively on personal portraiture and family photography. Maryse Photography does not currently offer commercial or corporate photography, business portraits or LinkedIn photos.
